Do you have one favorite coloring medium that you always reach for first? Mix things up by combining different coloring mediums for interesting effects in your picture.
Here are some ideas to try;
- Crayons
- Colored pencils
- Watercolor pencils
- Markers
- Gel pens (either with or without glitter)
- Oil pastels
- Gelatos
- Watercolor paints
in the picture accompanying this post, I used markers, gelatos, and glitter gel pens. The difference in the various areas doesn’t fully show in the photo, but the original picture has a depth that is impossible to achieve using just one coloring medium.
